Tuesday, August 26, 2003: Great news!
Hello! I've just discovered that The Box Children discussion questions are now featured on the site www.readinggroupguides.com, which is a great huge gathering place for readers. It's also featured on the site's 'TeenReads' section. So hooray!
I've been doing outreach to English departments at girls' schools, and to English teachers in general. So if you know any who might be interested, please let me know.
If you happen to be in New London, CT on Sunday, September 6, stop by the 'Books, Boats and Brushes' festival—I'll be there! My presentation is at 1:40 p.m.
I did a fun program earlier this month at the Woodmere Club, a private golf club on Long Island that organized a discussion around the book. Eighteen smart women golfers with lots of great questions. This week I'm out to the Jewish Community Center on the Palisades, in Teaneck NJ for a noontime discussion.
Hope you are having a great end-of-summer!
