Here are some events coming up this fall:

October 12-13, 2002
New York City
International Women's Writing Guild (IWWG) 'Meet the Authors/Meet the Agents'
I'll be speaking on a panel Sunday, Oct. 12 with other writers about the process of writing and getting a book published, then signing books. My agent, Meredith Bernstein, will also be featured. For more information, call (212) 247-0600 or go to www.iwwg.com

November 6, 2002Brooklyn, NY
Reading and signing at Community Bookstore in Park Slope
143 Seventh Avenue (between Garfield and Carroll), 7:30 p.m.

November 14-17, 2002 Austin, Texas
Texas Book Festival on the Capital Grounds
This is a huge deal(20,000 people over four days, tons of events)and I'm a 'featured author.' The festival showcases books published in the past year which focus on Texas or were written by Texas authors. I'm on a panel and then signing and selling books in a tent. I'll post more information when I get the schedule. Visit www.texasbookfestival.org

November 21, 2002 Amarillo, Texas
Friends of the Amarillo Library Book and Author Dinner
This is an annual dinner (6-9 p.m.); the big featured speaker is William Bernhardt, who writes great legal thrillers. I'll be among the 15 other authors invited to speak briefly about our books and then sign and sell copies.

December 11, 2002 Hackensack, New Jersey
The Record (Bergen
County, N.J.), The Record
Book Club Dinner
The Record publicizes and holds a dinner at which a featured author (in this case, me) dines with attendees and they all discuss the book, Oprah-style. This should be fun!
