Spring has nearly sprung in NYC and The Box Children is still kicking around out there....last month it made the bestseller list of Page One, New Mexico's largest independent bookstore. It was the library book club choice for March in Lancaster, OH, and for February in Sycamore, IL. Google tells me these things!

I led a writing workshop in March at Eleanor Roosevelt's retreat cottage near Hyde Park, NY. It was the biggest group I'd worked with before, about 40 women. The workshop was sponsored by the International Women's Writing Guild (www.IWWG.org) and is an annual event; I've been invited to be the presenter again next year. Below is agenda we worked from at the workshop.

'The Daring Act of Writing'
--Letting Go: From Silence to Full voice
--Claiming Territory: What is Yours to Tell?
--Risking it All: the Moment of Truth on the Page
--Changing What You Can: Humility, Authority, Perseverance and Vision

Everyone at the workshop did a great deal of courageous writing together, in the spirit of Eleanor Roosevelt. It was an honor to be part of it.

I will be back at IWWG's week-long writing conference in Saratoga Springs, NY June 18-25, doing one-on-one coaching with writers there.
