ONLY TEN DAYS UNTIL THE BOX CHILDREN COMES OUT IN PAPERBACK!

On July 1, please ask your bookstore to carry it, if they aren't already doing so. And check out www.theboxchildren.com on that date, for its beautiful new design (courtesy Glen Sanford) and new photos. We will soon add discussion questions for middle and high school students. I'm just back from my first experience as a writing workshop instructor, for the International Women's Writing Guild (IWWG) at its annual conference in Saratoga Springs, New York. It was great--400 women at all stages of their writing endeavors. My class was called 'Wholehearted Writing: Bringing your Fullest, Truest Self to the Page.' Every day we would write in class, then talk about ways of getting closer to writing one's truth, even in fiction. Thanks to all my students for a wonderful week.
